A mesmerising performance to enjoy this January in Niseko.

Get ready for a very special event coming to Niseko this January. Be captivated by the beautiful sounds and world-class artistry of Richard Tognetti and members of the Australian Chamber Orchestra when they return to Niseko in 2017.

Richard Tognetti is a world renowned violinist and the artistic director of the Australian Chamber Orchestra which he has led for over 25 years. Together with his wife Satu Vanska and friends from the Australian Chamber Orchestra, audiences will get to enjoy two concerts in two different venues in Niseko.

On Wednesday 18th January at Tanta-An at Hirafu Gondola Mountain Centre, be treated to the first show at 5pm. The evening get under way with performances by Kutchan's own Mt. Yotei Junior Jazz School and Koryu Taiko Drumming association.

  • 5.10pm - 5.40pm Koryu Taiko Drumming
  • 5.45pm - 6.30pm Mt Yotei Jazz
  • 7pm - 7.50pm Richard Tognetti and members of the ACO

On Friday 20th January, there will be a more intimate, second concert starting at 6pm at The Orchards Niseko clubhouse. The concert will be around one hour in length with performance guests having the chance to meet, and eat and drink with these talented musicians. The event will be hosted by Elliot Faber, a Certified Sommelier and an Advanced Sake Professional as well as the Beverage Director for Yardbird, RONIN, and Sunday’s Grocery in Hong Kong.

Wednesday 18th January Performance
Where: Tanta-An, Grand Hirafu Mountain Center (Gondola Ticket Office)
¥4,500 (plus ticketing fee) which includes one standard drink. Seats will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Friday 20th January Performance.
Where: The Orchards Niseko
¥4,000 (plus ticketing fee) performance only
¥8,500 (plus ticketing fee) performance, meet, eat and drink package
