‘PROTECT FUKUSHIMA KIDS’

In the wake of the March 2011 earthquake and subsequent tsunami, Niseko Central are proud to announce our support of the ‘Protect Fukushima Kids’ campaign designed to raise funds for a range of initiatives in support of the children and families in the Fukushima disaster area.

After several months searching for a community based initiative to support, HT have partnered with the PROTECT FUKUSHIMA KIDS campaign which was originally set up to raise money for a temporary summer relocation program which allowed almost 50 children the opportunity to travel to Hokkaido for a few weeks over this summer.

Niseko Central will contribute 100 yen for every person that books with us over 2011/12 season (01 may 2011 to 30 April 2012)

The funds will go towards a collective of initiatives including the following;

1. Financial assistance to families in Fukushima, who have lost their homes and jobs or been forced to relocate to evacuation shelters

2. Temporary relocation program’s - provide an opportunity for children and parents in Fukushima to be relocated to Hokkaido and other areas for extended summer and winter holidays

We are delighted to be contributing in our small way by raising funds in support of the families and children of Fukushima and assisting in any way to help the community rebuild their lives.

If you would like to donate or get further information on how can help please contact us for details.

“We ask you to help us bring back the ‘true smile’ and spirit of life which should be trademark of our children” - Protect Fukushima Kids 2011
