The most established Niseko accommodation provider and market leader, Niseko Central, will be providing accommodation to the competitors and spectators of the Ironman Japan Triathlon. The Triathlon is happening on August 24, 2014 and will once again be taking place around Lake Toya and the Niseko region.

“Nothing gives us greater enjoyment than having major sporting events take place in the Niseko region,” said Chris Pickering, Operation Manager of Niseko Central. “Niseko Central provides the perfect place for both those competing in or watching the triathlon. We’re pleased to be able to help those that share the same passions as us.”

Ironman Japan begins with a one-and-two-thirds swim around Japan’s crystal clear Lake Toya. Next, participants will bike a 180-kilometer loop through Japan’s beautiful landscapes, including a series of climbs through lush forest and patchwork farmland.
