Looking to enjoy Niseko at a more relaxed pace? Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing provided by Niseko Adventure Centre (NAC) are great winter activities for everyone even families.
Season Dates
- Regular Season: 1–14 December 2025 and 6 January – 13 February 2026
- Peak Season: 15 December 2025 – 5 January 2026 and 14 – 28 February 2026
- Off-Season: 1 March – 8 April 2026
Snowshoeing Tour (3 Hours)
Snowshoes allow you to enjoy a walk across the pristine white snow in a true winter wonderland! Snowshoeing is available for Group (shared with other Guests) or Private (only for you and your friends) bookings.
The tour will either be at Lake Hangetsu, Tokeien, Iwaonupuri or Asahigaoka park to experience a beautiful view accessible and known only to local guides. This offer great opportunities to learn the basic techniques such as the best way to go up and down hills.
Snowshoeing tour is available to book from 1 December 2025 to 8 April 2026.
All tour includes the following:
- Snowshoes
- Walking boots (22-28cm)
- Tea and snack provided by NAC

Private Cross-Country Skiing (3 Hours)
Cross-country skis are designed to allow users to walk along flat areas and even up up small hills, before traversing down slight descents. It’s an ideal option for outdoor enthusiasts and beginners alike.
Cross-country skiing tours are available to book from 1 December 2025 to 8 April 2026.
Tour includes the following:
- Complimentary pick-up service from accommodation
- Ski poles and boots (20-29cm)
- Tea and snack provided by NAC

- Cancellations - 15 days to 2 days before tour 50% will be charged.
- Within 2 days of tour 100% cancellation fee.
- Bookings within 48 hours please call on 0136 233 503.
- Bookings can only be accepted from Niseko Central Guests.
- Requests for changes or cancellations should be sent via email to [email protected].
- Payment for any Guest Service is due 7 days prior to Check-In. We reserve the right to cancel without notice any service we have not received payment for by this due date
