The ski season in Niseko kicks off in just 3 short months! We’re so excited, and not just for skiing; Niseko is welcoming many new projects this winter, such as new dining locations and Niseko’s new International Snowsports school. Here’s a list of what you can expect this winter in Niseko!

Located inside of Niseko’s newest luxury resort hotel Ki Niseko, is An Dining, a Restaurant, Café and Bar that offers produce-inspired fine and casual dining. An Dining prides itself on using only the freshest Hokkaido produce and finest ingredients. Celebrity Head Chef Shinichi Maeda has international experience and brings an innovative and vibrant take on some of Japan’s most traditional dishes.

Gondola Snowsports (GoSnow)

Niseko is proud to announce the launch of Gondola Snowsports, Niseko-Hirafu resort’s official International Snowsports school. Dedicated to teaching, GoSnow invites all international visitors, both children and adults, to learn with all lessons conducted in English. In fact, GoSnow will be the only Snowsports School in Niseko-Hirafu resort to provide on-snow beginner and kids’ facilities. Gondola Snowsports is located at the Hirafu high-speed gondola, alongside Niseko Central’ ski valet, making it a great add-on value for Guests.

Le Cochon

Back for the 2014-2015 season is Le Cochon, a French Bistro located inside of Yama Shizen, one of Niseko Central’ luxury properties. Head Chef Kazuhiko Kojima is back after spending a few years in southern France to study French cuisine – and his experience is evident in Le Cochon’s dishes. Kaz produces French food with rich tastes and subtle nuances using only quality meats from Hokkaido and around the world, and locally produced farm fresh vegetables. Le Cochon makes for the perfect romantic night out with your significant other.

Niseko Beer Brewery

Niseko town is welcoming a new beer brewery and restaurant, Niseko Beer Brewery. Owner Mitsujiro Kawaminami has experience brewing beer in Canada and uses this to his advantage to create distinctly local beer using Niseko’s water. The Brewery offers a variety of local beers and a selection of seasonal variations. Customers are even encouraged to try brewing themselves in the Brewery’s special workshops!
