The room inspector will be responsible for checking for any damage to rooms after Niseko Central guests have checked out of their accommodation and also preparing rooms for arrival.

Job Description
The Room Inspector's role is to attend Niseko Central managed properties across the Hirafu village after the guests depart to:
- Inspecting the room to ensure it has been left in a suitable condition
- Gathering room keys and collecting lost items from the rooms and reporting it
- Collecting rubbish and linens
- Checking for any damage
- If damage is found, check against our database to see if it is the result of the departing guest
- Log damage reports and communicate with Guest Services Team
Room Inspectors will be responsible for ensuring all rooms requiring inspections within the day, are inspected within a certain time period to ensure incoming guests are not impacted by time delays.
Room Inspectors will also assist in preparing rooms for guests arrival along with other general tasks and errands.
Important: Applicants must be eligible for an international driver's permit or hold a Japanese driver's license.
Job Particulars
Pay Rate
- ¥1,550 - ¥1,850 per hour.
- 25% overtime allowance for hours worked above the prescribed working hours for the month.
- 25% late night allowance for work between 10pm and 5am.
Employment Period
- November 2025 - March 2026
- Fully paid training at the start of the season.
Hours
- Generally 5 days per week, around 40 hours per week with a mix of shifts to give you a chance to go riding and enjoy the nightlife.
- Hours will vary through the season depending on business levels with less hours at the start and end of the season (more riding time!) and occasional overtime during peak periods.
