44 life-size model cows been delivered to Niseko in preparation for the upcoming Cow Parade, the world's largest public art exhibit which has taken place in more than 80 countries. As part of the exhibition, the cows will be painted by professional and amateur artists from around Japan and put on display in Niseko Hirafu, Niseko Village, Hanazono and Kutchan.

Cows will be exhibited from June through to October, giving artists just a few weeks to have their designs finished. A number of artists will be completing their cows in a temporary studio set up in Hirafu 188, overlooking Mt. Yotei.
