On 19th July, the summer gondola opens at the Alpen Hotel, providing hikers and bikers with easy access to Mt Annupuri. On the same day the Grand Hirafu Mountain Bike Park opens, and with the amazing summer weather, we can expect to see a lot of bikers heading up for first tracks.
Congratulations to all the racers who completed both the 70km and 140km races in the Niseko Classic yesterday. And well done to all the Niseko Central' staff who helped out by volunteering for what was a really successful event.

We are pleased to announce that the Hokkaido District Transport Bureau have confirmed that Niseko's application to become a Japanese designated sightseeing area has been approved. Kanko-ken (sightseeing areas) are designated Tourism areas being organised by the Japan Tourism Agency.
