As we welcome the final few weeks of the Grand Hirafu Resort season, there are a few changes to the lift operations schedule that you should be aware of before you arrive for your Spring trip
To ensure you make the most of your time on the slopes, please find below the lift operations schedule for the remainder of the 2022/23 Winter Season. This includes opening and closing times, as well as the closing dates for the season.
As of 30 April, these are the runs that remain open
Due to melting snow at the base, only the runs at the top of the mountain remain fully open.
Please be careful in some areas due to lack of snow cover and always follow directions from ski patrol. For the most up to date information, keep an eye on the Grand Hirafu website for daily updates.
As of 30 April, here are the lifts that remain open

*Hirafu Gondola last ascent is at 15:45, last descent is at 16:30. Some lift schedules may change without prior notice due to various factors, including weather conditions, visibility and sunset.
Access to the slopes
Shuttle bus service ending 28 February, 2023
The Hirafu Free Shuttle Bus ceased operation on 28 February this season. We would highly recommend anyone staying in Middle or Lower Hirafu Village properties to rent a car for added convenience and flexibility.

Most of our properties have ample parking spaces, so you can easily get from your accommodation to the slopes or village.
There is a nationwide requirement for foreign visitors driving in Japan to have a valid International Driving Permit, so please make sure to arrange one in your own country before traveling to Japan.

If you would like to be close to all the action, Deep Tracks is located just 250m from the Hirafu Gondola, guaranteeing you first in line for those fresh groomed morning tracks.
