Niseko Winter Season is Setting In

We're waited and it's finally here! The Niseko winter 2016/17 season is all systems go with the much-anticipated opening of the Hirafu Gondola at the weekend at Grand Hirafu. With the Gondola now up and running, it means even more access to the mountain and even more great runs are now open to explore and ride.

Early bird snowboarders and skiers have been out and about on the slopes since the opening of Grand Hirafu on November 26th, taking advantage of the early season snow. With great snowfall over the past few weeks and some bluebird days warmly welcomed, it's been an amazing start to the new season.

The other great news is that the brand new King Quad Lift #3 is now up and rolling and in operation for the first time this season. The high-speed 4-person lift is really smooth and comfortable ride up, providing access to the Hirafu summit and Hanazono. The quick ride up means you get to enjoy even more time shredding downhill.

Plus, get even more time on the mountain with night skiing scheduled to open on December 10th, 2016. Go from day to night or simply hit the slopes in the evening after a day of other snow activities and experience magic on the mountain.
